Operation HOPE was founded in 1999 by Dr. John Thomas of Lubbock, TX. In its infancy, Dr. Thomas’ vision for the organization was to make a positive impact on lives worldwide. Now in its 10th year, this non-profit (501c3) organization continues to expand its ministry’s footprint to reach around the world while maintaining a strong presence in their own backyard through ministry at Texas Tech.
